Hi Peter it was great seeing the Vagrants perform in the 60's But to be performing as the drummer in the Band is probably the second best feeling in the world.Thanks for the opportunity to play with the greats.Love ya Russ

Man I remember the Vagrants long ago.I was a teen in high school in Levittown,Long Island.I remember them and the Hassles with Billy Joel on keyboards.The Action house is where I capture many memories of The Vanilla Fudge,Hassles,And Vagrants.

back in long beach high school in the mid 60,s i was in a band called the nite beats. we acually played the malibu beach club with the vagrants.still a great memory for a rock star in the back bedroom/

I MET ROGER THE DRUMMER IN CHICAGO NOT KNOWING HOW FAMOUS HE WAS AS A MUSICIAN UNTIL ONE NIGHT HE ASKED ME IF I'D LIKE TO GO TO A BILLY JOEL CONSERT AND HE GOT US BACK STAGE WHERE WE MEET UP WITH JOEL'S DRUMMER LIBERTY AND HE SAY'S TO ME' WE ALL{MEANING DRUMMERS} TRYED TO PLAY LIKE ROGER. IN N.Y. HE WAS ONE OF THE BEST.
