Larry, Leslie's younger brother, claims he has no birthday, his brother hatched him. The youngest of the group, Larry possesses all the youthful charm in the world. He is the clown of the group and sees the funny side of even the worst calamity.

The electric bass is mostly played in a very straight manner. Larry West is changing all that. He moves with every note and swings his instrument from high in the air to almost hitting the stage at the same time moving his body in a rhythmic manner that works perfectly with the music. His singing is soulful, made even more so by his closed eyed, sad, almost tearful delivery.
