Jerry is the intellectual of the group and the one who is enjoying their success the most. He digs the fame that is coming his way and is especially nice to fans. Says Jerry, "I love to walk down the street and hear someone say, 'Hey, look, it's one of the Vagrants.'" Jerry's parents were disappointed at first when he decided against college for the time being. But now after hearing him perform, they are as excited about his career as he is. Jerry wrote his first song at the age of 8. It was called "Down On Grampa's Farm." Jerry was New York State Junior Bowling Champion.
Jerry is not one of those organ players who just sits at his organ. He does more than play, he feels it and makes it feel him, hovering over it, protecting it, making it deliver everything that it is possible for it to deliver.
